Earnings Range: $30K – $40K, plus bonus

Start Date: As soon as possible

This position is responsible for increasing the number of quotations won and/or the conversion rate for quotes by contacting customers by telephone, building and maintaining the mailing list for assigned accounts, and developing sales opportunities.

This position is further responsible to setting an exemplary standard for customer service by timely responses to the customer with a positive, helpful attitude.  This entails the use of good judgment and effective decision-making to identify and prioritize internal sales prospects of customer organizations.


– The selected candidate should possess an Associate’s Degree in Business/Marketing desirable; or the equivalent of 2-4 years experience in the specialized area of sales/telesales.

– One must possess excellent telephone sales skills, be mentally alert and possess good listening skills.

– Other requirements are the ability to interpret customer needs; working knowledge of word processing software; and ability to operate a PC/CRT and access to data base in order to respond to a customer.

– One must have exposure to products being marketed.

– Ideal candidates must be a motivated, self-starting, goal-oriented individual with good time and contact management skills along a high degree of maturity and integrity in dealing with customers and other Team Members.

– Candidate should be well-organized, energetic, enthusiastic, and have a helpful, customer oriented approach to business.

– Experience:  Experience in data communications or computer related sales preferred with a proven track record of sales achievement.

– Exposure or background selling to mid sized and larger accounts i.e., Fortune 1000, federal government, or major franchiser desirable.

– Ideal person would have 2 – 5 years of sales and prospecting experience and a proven track record of success.  Familiarity with prospecting sources and CRM systems preferred.
