Earnings Range: $32-$40K base plus monthly commission & annual bonus, total OTE of $48-$60K respectively

The Inside Sales Representative position is responsible for selling products and producing sales revenues and profits in a given territory. This position conducts daily business by telephone. This position is responsible for following a defined sales process, following up on opportunities, up-selling products, up-selling warranties, and other promotions, and creating and delivering competitive quotes to customers. This position is further responsible for enhancing account penetration by developing new customers and identifying new sales opportunities. This entails the use of good judgment and effective decision-making to identify and prioritize sales opportunities, and apply appropriate sales programs and resources to maximize win potential.

MEASUREMENT CRITERIA
1. Achieve sales revenue goal of 100% or greater for assigned territory.
2. Achieve Gross Profit targets within assigned territory.
3. Spend a minimum of 3 hours a day on the phone conducting outbound sales.
4. Contact a minimum of 100 customers or potential customers by phone daily.
5. Maintain up to date quotes, comments and project notes in the sales tracking systems and business applications.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain and build relationships with current customers, and maximize revenue potential through product sales.
• Build rapport with new customers. Locate additional sales contacts within customer base, and research brand new customers within given territory.
• Probe for new sales opportunities. Present sales promotions and negotiate to win.
• Create and follow up on quotations with customers on a daily basis by phone.
• Receive and respond to sales requests by customers, providing timely feedback on to promote customer satisfaction and customer retention.
• Act as a liaison between customers and all other departments to ensure that customer requirements are met.
• Maintain adequate sales records in a timely and complete manner in the system.
• Provides various information and reports in order to keep management informed of progress and business activity and recommends appropriate action.
• Incorporates the “quality” process in all activities to ensure total customer satisfaction both inside and outside the organization.
• Performs other related duties as requested or required.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Ideal person needs to have a minimum of 1 year experience in data communications or computer related sales with a proven track record of sales achievement. The selected candidate should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or recent college graduates. Individuals must possess excellent telephone sales skills, be mentally alert and possess good listening skills. It also requires the ability to interpret customer needs. One must have a basic knowledge of products being marketed. Position requires a motivated, self-starting, goal-oriented individual. One must possess a high degree of maturity and integrity in dealing with customers and other Team Members and be well-organized, energetic, enthusiastic and driven to meet individual and corporate goals.
